Thelma Jean Thompson

Thelma Jean Thompson, 58 of West Union departed this life on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in Ruby Memorial Hospital.  She was born on January 5,1962 in Clarksburg a daughter of the late Andrew and Betty Jones Leasure.   Surviving is her companion of 23 years Hugh J. McKinney, West Union, daughters, Teresa Stutler, Clarksburg, Sheila Stutler, Good Hope, Ruth Leaptrot, FL, Mary Thompson, FL, Shirley Potts, Clarksburg, sons, Mark Pulice, Fairmont, Jesse Pulice, Matthew Lau and Arnold Potts, Clarksburg, sisters, Judy McKinney, West Union, Martha Jones, Clarksburg, Robin Underwood, Parkersburg, brothers, Jimmy Leasure, Salem, Tom Leasure, VA, Danny Leasure, Clarksburg, Brian Leasure, Parkersburg, several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  One sister preceded her in death Faith Jones.   Thelma loved to garden and enjoyed her flowers. She also loved to hunt. The biggest thing she loved is to laugh. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.   Private family viewing will be held in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 56 Front St. West Union. Private graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020 in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union with Pastor Bill Davis presiding.  Spurgeon Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Thompson McKinney family.
