Randall Gordon Forrester Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Randall Gordon Forrester 69 of Rt. 2 (Big Flint Road) West Union passed away on Thursday January 22, 2009 in the United Hospital Center. He was born on August 17, 1939 in Salem a son of the late William A. and Ida E. Owens Forrester. On January 21, 2006 he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Lee Snyder Forrester. His Native American wife Sharon Mosser of Big Flint survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Sherri Lee Bonnell, West Union, Stacy Lynn Swisher, Cincinnati OH, 6 grandchildren, four sisters, Helen Fike and Winona Gain both of Grafton, Wanda Lemasters, New Philadelphia, OH, and Kay Frances Colonie, Latrobe, Pennsylvania, two brothers, Wallace A. Forrester, Weston, and Cecil Forrester, Salem. Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death. He was the youngest of seventeen children. Mr. Forrester had been a former employee of Bonds Supply, Salem and was the owner and operator of Forrester Construction. He was a member of Reynoldsville Christian Church where he had served on the deacon, elder and trustee board. Mr. Forrester was a U. S. Army veteran. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 24, 2009 at 2:00 PM in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union with Pastor Bob Marino officiating. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Saturday January 24, 2009 from 12 Noon until service time. Interment will be in the Keys Cemetery, Big Flint at the convenience of the family.
