Marsha Leggett

Miss Marsha Leggett, 72, of West Union departed this life on Friday, July 18, 2014 at her residence. She was born August 2, 1941 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Marshall and Ernestine Ford Leggett. She is survived by cousins, Nelda King and family, Lorelei Phillips and family, Thelma Marie Napier and family, Patrick Leggett and several other cousins. She leaves behind her best friend, Buddy, her dachshund. Marsha had retired as a bookkeeper from the West Union Bank. She was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church and had been treasurer for many years and sang in the choir. She was a 1959 graduate of Doddridge County High School. Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home, 212 Front St., West Union on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 1PM with Pastor David McCauley presiding. Interment will follow in the Masonic Memorial Park, West Union. Family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 10AM until time of services on Monday, July 21, 2014.
