Kenneth Edward Henderson

Kenneth Edward "Eddie" Henderson, 63 of Greenwood departed this life on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. He was born at Middletown, OH on June 16, 1952 a son of the late Kenneth Stanton and Rose Louise Yetter Henderson. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Travis Edward Henderson. He is survived by his wife Patricia "Patsy" Phillips Henderson. Also surviving are one daughter, Carrie Beth Johnson and wife Latisha, Middletown, OH, two sisters, Corrinnia Rice and husband Curley, Middletown, OH, Hallie Jeffery and husband Russ, Lebanon, OH, one step daughter, Cathy Lavalais and husband Stephen, Mableton, GA, three step sons, Larry Griffin and wife Kim, St. Mary's, Richard Griffin and wife Brenda, Greenwood, Jody Griffin and wife Michelle, Harrisville, 10 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Henderson was retired from Hamilton Kettles as a welder with 37 year's service. Eddie enjoyed fishing, playing guitar and traveling. He had attended the First Church of God, Mason, OH. Funeral services will be conducted in the Spurgeon Funeral Home 212 Front St. West Union on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 2PM with Pastor Danny Lipscomb officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel after 11AM on Sunday until time of service.
